Trade Assistant

We are currently seeking an experienced Trades Assistant to join a thriving manufacturing company in North-West Sydney! Great long term opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency using hand and power tools, and a proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the assembly and fit-out of vehicle interiors and systems (cabinetry, joinery, shop fitting or related)
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Use hand and power tools efficiently and safely
• Perform quality checks to ensure high standards of finish and function
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Follow WH&S procedures and contribute to a safe workplace

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience with high-quality assembly or production
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills
• Background in timber assembly, shop fitting, cabinet making or related
• Strong sense of safety in the workshop
• Able to work in a team and follow instruction
